New charges came shortly after New Orleans police arrested him in the Gold shooting whenpolice said they learned DNA connectedhim to the rape, kidnapping and robbery ofa male-female couple in Treme.He is accused of victimizing thecouple a day after shooting Gold. The new battery charge added $10,000 to Cain’s bond, which had previously totaled$6 million.
